Calgary company launches Canadian dollar-backed stablecoin approved by Alberta’s regulator. The question we all need to ask is “Do you want programmable digital money that can control you and what you can purchase? There is little doubt by now that any form of programmable digital electronic system that you do not have 100% control of can impact your life. Just take for example the new vehicles that through facial recognition decide if you are mentally stable enough to drive.. perhaps you’ve seen the facebook reel of gramma and her son jumping into a farm truck to escape a tornado and the vehicle won’t start because the driver appears too distraught.. wtf.. not my kinda truck.. lol digital currency that can be manipulated, created when needed can be no different than the printed dollars that show the same number in your savings account year after year but buy you less and less through in inflation or devaluation. We need to decide what kind of world is real and healthy, fair and beautiful? So far we are just bending in the winds of change that big data is blowing over us and throwing electronic dust in out eyes.
